Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hyperfocus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application. Hyperfocus is operated by Latent Supply Pty Ltd (ABN 38 694 551 490).

2. Description of Service

Hyperfocus is a desktop email client that connects to your existing email accounts via IMAP and provides a keyboard-driven interface for managing your email. The application runs locally on your computer and communicates directly with your email provider.

3. Account and Access

To use Hyperfocus, you connect your existing email accounts. Your email credentials are stored securely on your device using your operating system's native keychain. We do not store your email credentials on our servers.

Hyperfocus offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, a paid license is required to continue using the application. Licenses are available as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment partner, Polar. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime licenses are a one-time purchase and do not renew.

License keys may be activated on up to 3 devices. You may deactivate a device at any time to free up an activation slot.

5. Intellectual Property

Hyperfocus, including its source code, design, and branding, is the exclusive property of Latent Supply Pty Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal or business purposes in accordance with your license type.

6. Your Data

Your emails remain with your email provider. Hyperfocus accesses your email via IMAP and caches data locally on your device to provide the interface. We do not copy, store, or process your email content on our servers.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key with others. We reserve the right to revoke licenses that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

Hyperfocus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Latent Supply Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to loss of data or email content.

9. Updates

We may release updates to Hyperfocus from time to time. Updates may include bug fixes, new features, or security patches. While we endeavour to maintain backward compatibility, we cannot guarantee that all features will remain unchanged.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or via our website. Continued use of Hyperfocus after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Hyperfocus will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
